INVOCATION:To the sacred alchemy of our practices may each of one of us grow the capacity to love our lives, all that is easy and hard, all that is revealed and all that is concealed. May we bless it all.
The Lotus is one of the most beautiful flowers in the world. It is one of the most ancient and deepest symbols of our planet. The lotus flower grows in muddy water and rises above the surface to bloom with remarkable beauty. At night the flower closes and sinks underwater, at dawn it rises and opens again. Untouched by impurity, lotus symbolizes the purity of heart and mind. The lotus flower is an iconic symbolism of beauty because it lives in the muddy water yet remains unsoiled.
It reminds us to reconnect to natural Spiritual Rhythm: harmony between dynamic and static masculine and feminine energies within us.
4 Main Energies: Static Masculine, Static Feminine, Dynamic Masculine, Dynamic Feminine
The roots of the lotus are in the mud, the stem grows up through the water, and the heavily scented flower lies pristinely above the water, asking for sunlight. This pattern of growth signifies the progress of the soul from the
- primeval mud of materialism,
- through the waters of experience, and
- into the bright sunshine of enlightenment.
My workshop Alchemy of Love is dedicated to love in all ways, all days inspired by the lotus blossom as metaphor, dedicated to Shri Maha Lakshmi. The word “Lak” means 100,000 in its literal sense. It represents infinity because Lakshmi is the Mother of all giving and receiving.
2 PARTS OF THE LOTUS BLOSSOM: Inner and Outer
LIKE A FLOWER YOUR LIFE CAN BE DIVIDED INTO 2 PARTS: YOUR INNER WORLD, THE CENTER OF THE FLOWER, AND YOUR OUTER WORLD, THE PETALS
Your Inner world(center of lotus): thoughts, desires, inutitive knowing, awareness, emotions
Your Outer world:relationships, community, career, external personality
For the petals of Outer World to unfurl you must first inhabit the innermost aspects of yourself this allows for authenticity, self-acceptance, self-love
“We have the choice of two identities: the external mask which seems to be real…and the hidden, inner person who seems to us to be nothing, but who can give herself eternally to the truth in whom she subsists.”
-Thomas Merton, New Seeds of Contemplation
It takes courage to do the work of revealing the self to the self. None of us are done yet. We must keep exploring our truth as it evolves and relates to who you are now.
This is the foundation of a spiritually #happy balanced life.
My yoga inspires me to push the boundaries of my Authenticity day in and out.
☮️ Are you ready to get R E A L? 🕉
Rediscovering who you are apart from your roles and traits takes time and also courage. If, like many, you have denied your authenticity for a long while, you may find it difficult to separate your true identity from the identity you have created to cope with the world around you. Once you do find this authentic self, however, you will be overcome by a wonderful sense of wholeness as you reconcile your spiritual aspect and your physical aspect, as well as your inner- and outer-world personas. As you gradually adjust to this developing unity, your role as a being of light will reveal itself to you, and you will discover that you have a marvelous destiny to fulfill.
